1. Acceptance
By accessing or playing Scrux.io, you agree to these Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the posted game rules. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Age
Scrux is intended for players aged 13 and over. If you are under the required age in your country, you must not create an account or provide personal data without appropriate permission.
3. Accounts and Verification
- You may play as a guest or create an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
- Some features may require email, CAPTCHA, or anti-abuse verification.
- We may reject, restrict, or remove accounts that are fraudulent, abusive, automated, or created to evade punishment.
- Account names, nicknames, and profile content must follow the game rules.
4. Fair Play
- No cheating, botting, scripting, automation, exploiting, or server disruption.
- No cross-teaming, alt abuse, account sharing for advantage, or ban evasion.
- No harassment, hate speech, threats, scams, doxxing, spam, or impersonation.
- Follow moderator instructions and use reports/tickets honestly.
The game rules are part of these Terms and may be updated as Scrux changes.
5. Clips and Player Content
Scrux may let players save, rename, trim, view, share, and publish gameplay clips. You are responsible for the clips and names you publish.
- Do not publish clips or names that break the rules or include harmful content.
- Public clips may be visible to other players with your username and public clip metadata.
- We may remove, hide, or restrict clips for moderation, safety, copyright, legal, or operational reasons.
- You keep any rights you have in your content, but you allow Scrux to host, display, process, and share it as needed to run the clip feature.
6. Virtual Items and Purchases
Cosmetics, coins, ratings, memberships, or other virtual items are non-transferable and have no cash value unless Scrux states otherwise. Items may change, be rebalanced, or be removed where necessary for technical, legal, or gameplay reasons.
Refund requests are reviewed case-by-case in line with applicable consumer protection law.
7. Security and Anti-Abuse Measures
Scrux may use hashed IP addresses, device fingerprints, CAPTCHA checks, IPQualityScore, ProxyCheck.io, email verification, moderation logs, and other safety tools to protect the game and community.
You must not interfere with these systems or attempt to bypass them.
8. Availability
Scrux is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We work to keep the game stable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free gameplay, permanent availability of features, or compatibility with every device.
9. Suspension and Termination
We may warn, mute, suspend, ban, delete, restrict, or otherwise moderate accounts or content that violate these Terms, the rules, or applicable law.
You may request account deletion by contacting support@scrux.io.
10. Liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited. To the extent permitted by law, Scrux is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses caused by use of the service.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms to reflect gameplay, legal, provider, or operational changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms. Significant updates will be announced in-game, on Discord, or by email where appropriate.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, except where consumer law gives you rights in another jurisdiction.
